Odd, you should be able to swap them fairly seamlessly.

If you kill -3 the process what is actually going on?

Of course you could have a race condition in your code that is only showing up on the JRockit JVM.

I installed JRockit JVM on our server and tried to run the test program
with it. Unfortunately the program starts (no error messages), but no
output messages are visible and top shows, that the processes do nothing
 in the background.

I'm missing something?
