That sounds like an odd idea. There are lots of applications in
production which are using JDK 1.4, and they'll be able to upgrade to
MINA 1.0 so that's all nice and dandy. The applications which are in
production, and are written for Java 5 will also be able to upgrade to
MINA 1.0, but they will not get all benefits of Java 5, and most of the
systems which are in production will probably not be upgraded to Java 6
when it's released. Using Java 6 in release 1.1 means that the the
applications which are using Java 5 will be neglected, or am I missing
something?
