To conflate Lucifer with Jesus is perplexing if not dangerous
(depending on one's devotion, I suppose).

IMO, 'Word' (Logos) is more 'thought', 'idea' or 'abstract
concept'. Word, in THAT sense, does not require concretes in order to
exist as abstracts do not require their corresponding concretes in
order to have a place in existence, unlike the reverse (every concrete
example has an abstract concept behind it). 'Word' MUST exist prior
to any physical instance, so 'Word' must be that which exists prior to
the instantiation of reality (the Big Bang). Thus, in THAT sense,
'Word' is the creator, as thoughts must preceed their real-world
counterparts.
