I remember Ronnie well, Orn. I came within 500 meters of him in Dublin, 25 years ago, when he visited Ireland and I was part of a massive demonstration against his foreign policy (particularly in Central America). Ironically, three years later (1987) I spent six months working with him as my ultimate boss. Having moved to Germany and (at the time) hardly speaking the language, I got a job working for an accounts company of the US Army near Heidelberg. A strange experience. The radio in the office played U2's Joshua Tree and continual news reports about Oliver North and the Iran/Contra affair. The question at the time was, "What did the president forget and when did he forget it ...?"
