I've heard of the Monsanto group before and it seems that they have a
track record of filing lawsuits against farmers. This case is
hopefully will set a new precedent for future cases. If something is
not done to halt these corporate monsters we will all be at their
mercy which seems to be nil. I'm personally against this GM food
movement and find that much of the food does not taste the same.
Hybrid varieties are produced for weight and not for flavor with a
disproportionate amount of pulp. I've noticed that the strawberries
and tomatoes recently purchased have nearly no flavor and are just
meaty with one tomato weighing at a pound. That's ridiculous when on
of my garden tomatoes weighs in at half that much with twice the juice
and flavor. I don't know whether the others are GM or hybrid but I'm
suspecting something that is not right. Is there anyway to find out
what products we are buying are GM's?
