Philosophically speaking it would serve more to philosophy on the
nature of love, the differing aspects of it and the interpretation of
such in order to discern the validity of it so as to avoid undo stress
upon the "heart" resulting from mere infatuation, instead of letting
the philosophical mind rule over the beautiful emotion of true love.
There is a fine line between love and need and therefore one must
evaluate before diving into the shallow pool. When someone utters the
word love I have to wonder if that person understands the meaning of
love. Love is used so casually these days in reference to everything
under the sun.
As far as my self being, I try to feel love in every aspect as much as
possible within the parameters of a 24 hour day. I spend as much time
as possible replacing stress with love and try to find something about
everything to love. It can be difficult, so that is all the more
reason to keep trying. Once one learns to identify love in a negative
situation the easier it gets. For some people using the word love is
very difficult and for others there is a fear of feeling love.
Love comes with expectations which when not met results in
disappointment and hurt feelings further resulting in the avoidance of
love. This usually is to failure to truly understand love and what
love means personally. One cannot outwardly love without knowing love
within.
