Rosey, certain regions of the brain will always be affected when someone is
shown/thinking about a stimulus - that's the job of the brain and rather
than jumping with glee, we should be worried if it didn't react to
something. The fact that the brain reacts to anything and everything is the
basis of behavoiral screening mechanisms at airports. That's not so say you
can't "supress" these feelings though. As many people know, it is possible,
with some practice, to fool a lie detector.

Why is is not possible to "control love and feelings of love"? What makes
love so different from our other emotions such as anger or guilt? With
regards to anger, people attend anger management classes in order to re-gain
control over their feelings. And as for guilt, it is a well known fact that
the amount of guilt felt by a murderer is inversely proportional to his/her
"kill count". Yes, emotions and impulses are as natural and involuntary as
breathing. However, akin to breathing, it is possible to control them. Why
is love given such a heavenly status above all other feelings and emotions?

Love is irrational and illogical. It is known to warp morals and impair
judgement. And yet, in spite of this, people choose to be governed by this
feeling - blindly obeying any of it's commands.

Mind over heart - any day, place or time zone.
