In context, The Pianist comes to mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkUVb1AJbSM As stated a few times over the years here, while working in the music school library where I was getting a degree in flute, I was so very tired of all such music like Ludwig's mentioned above...that I would mainly pull out Nonesuch records...of things as yet 'unheard' by me as being music...from a bunch of hanging bottles ...clanking in the wind to Shakuhachi improv. ....stones clicking etc. Anything fresh and new. As much as I adore the classical past, and still listen to it somewhat, there is so much more.
