I would say positively positive. That would be stipulated with the idea that progress is positive.
I think Christianity has made the greatest contributions, but Islam is trying to catch up. I believe a 'personal religion' is a part of the human psyche to calm the fear of the unknown. That people band together with a dogma is part of the social nature of the human. It is and it got us here. It was necessary to get us here.
