I have a lot of problems with todays faiths and the following statement is
true to a point of historical accuracy.

Quote ""Christianity has, for
most of its history, followed the idea of Christendom, the ideal of a
Christian society, a Christian world. This is because God, who is
intimately involved in the world, has laid down clear guidelines about
how society is to be organized and belief in him by all is an
essential part of the blueprint. Faith is true belief and error has,
by definition, no rights. Unbelievers are on the road to hell, and it
is the duty of believers to save them from this disastrous destiny.
There follows conversion by the sword, crusades, enforced
missioning, etc."" End Quote

But I have a lot of problems with this also,, because if you read the
christian new testament the law as surmised by Jesus reads " 1: Love God
with your whole mind, your whole heart and whole soul. 2: Love your neighbor
as yourself.. Those also are the laws of God the rabbi gave me. Well I run
into a minor problem trying to follow them because if I do not love myself
how am I supposed to love some one else? Yet if I read through the
teachings and life of Jesus (realizing part of it is just a great story
tellers story) a distinct personality starts to emerge and I can see how
this man that I admired so much handled the different situations that
occurred in is life. I can try and respond the same way.

I am obliged to share my beliefs but at the same time I am not allowed to
condemn.

Though the law of God can be stated many different ways like "Be good doing
no harm!" this is the natural law. the problem comes when people try to
explain a situation,, like one a very very wealth lady asked the question "I
have 15 good warm winter coats, I only need one. How do I give the other 14
away fairly?" that is a very tough question. Yet it goes to illustrate the
evolution of religious law. the Muslim concept of praying 5 times a day is
very beneficial and an excellent practice is it the law of God or a
regulation of man?

True spiritual laws are guidelines that lead you to back to God, My
guidelines that I am using in my way of life I have the obligation to share
with you, but I do not have the right or obligation to enforce them upon
you, the reverse is also true you do not have the right to enforce your view
of the spiritual laws on me, or any one else.

In the end it is your choice what spiritual path you chose to walk
whether it is atheism or one of major belief system or a solitary path it
is your personal choice and that is the choice you are accountable for.
