In my profile I say that bringing joy to the world on a daily basis
makes my life better. For me there is some sort of release of
negativity, not only for the me but for the other person as well, in
fact I actually find it entertaining. It is really simple in method
and does not take much to accomplish, no pre-meditative process but
more so the simultaneous release of humorous expression. Sometimes it
is not accomplished but that may be indicative of the degree of
unhappiness the other person is experiencing or the degree of their
being entrenched in earth's facade. Lately I've been getting laughs
when someone asks me how I'm doing and I respond with "I'm not sure,
you see the Swine Flew over my house last night and messed up my
roof". Suddenly there is a break of the seriousness that imprisons
people with a burst of laughter. I often joke with a cashier at the
market when she informs me "It's eight thirty five" and I look at my
watch responding with "Really? I only have 4:24, are you over charging
me?" with their smile I realize what it must be like to have to stand
up all day behind a register and act like a robot as I'm leaving and
they are left behind in a life of servitude, and it saddens me
deeply. Many a cashier will say "Its going to be two fifteen", to
which I respond with "Its going to be? when? should I come back later?
How much is it now? I'd rather pay the lessor amount" After a laugh
with the catch on they say "It IS two fifteen, Now"
A classic laugh under certain circumstances is.............
Me>Do you know the difference between a slice of pizza and making
love?
Her>No
Me>I'd like to take you out to lunch tomorrow?
Laughter is essential for me and it does trigger the endorphins and
make life better and health wise I guess it would have to be an
advantage as well.

So not to waste this thread I'm wondering how any of you accomplish
bringing joy to the world or are you some of those that need to have
joy delivered to your world?
How do you bring laughter to yourself, into your world?

At the restaurant when receiving the check I might say...............
"Excuse me is this a check?"
waiter....."Yes"
Me> "Well I'm sorry, I can't take a check from someone I don't know,
I'm going to need two forms of ID"
With a huge grin on the face they respond "It is a Bill not a check"
It really can be humorous if you can "break though the role" of the
other person. Cut through the facade of formality and bring out the
human from within the robot!

I hardly ever stop laughing and enjoying the interactions of people.
The sign reads "Garage Sale", well wouldn't you know that I want to
know how much the garage costs!

Spill your beans or leave a joke, as long as there is a laugh
somewhere in the mix. I know you all can't be all that serious all of
the time!!!
