Haha! Global warming indeed. See the numbers for the last two years yet, Neil?
Bucking the trend a bit, eh? ;-)

When the mini-ice age sets in, a frozen field will be the thing...train your
lads to play on ice, and you'll have KR by the short hairs!

Fear not Heretic, Chris will no doubt post the highlights as further
poorf (no typo) that global warming isn't real other than in the land
of fairies (though his point on the hype is real and needed). My own
team (Warrington - once called 'Wires' in celebration of the town's
industry - now the 'Wolves' on account of what can be found on Bridge
Street late on Saturday night) qualified for the quarter finals of the
Challenge Cup, probably to exit there now there are no further pixies
and elves left to play. The forthcoming Hull Kingston Rovers -
Warrington game is televised next week though I doubt this will be a
good game for pixie-fanciers, or for anyone within earshot of me if we
play like pixies. Sadly, Wolfram Alpha is not yet available to answer
my question 'How to beat Hull KR' so I have sent this sound advice to
my home team - don't play like a bunch of fairies. This has produced
the adverse comment that my pre-match dressing-room speeches always
started and ended with this technical advice and that the game has
moved on. Apparently the rules have changed and there are no longer
mandatory cigarette breaks every ten minutes and the mouthwash used
after the routine half-time stitching of gum wounds is non-alcoholic
