dear buddhapest, errr, 'spath! ;-) Many of us knew long before the election how BO was going to govern...and in almost every way he has been entirely predictable. As to your apparent idealistic side, there would have been no chance in his being elected if he had advocated all that you hope for nor could he make many such changes if he wished. While 'we' (society) are on a path...hopefully towards enlightenment, those who know have very little hope that it will happen quick enough to save humanity...here I'm talking about being able to live, not just a society.
