you know I agree with you space... i kinda avoid books with an ideological or philosophical bent(except for my academic books of course).... i get angry reading them.. if i disagree with the point of view.. and end up irritable....that is why i prefer stories...novels..literary pieces... plus i absolutely hate the self help buks like 'think positive' 'you can win' '10 steps to happiness'... they seem so shallow... its like they try to apply a formula to life.. narrow it down.. how can you give steps to happinesss... ridiculous....
