i cant speak for him, but i think omprem was aiming the free/think statement directly to their belief, or lack thereof, and not stating that atheists, as people, are incapable of thinking ...they may think about a way to make a better mouse trap, but in terms of adopting a belief in something that they cannot see or touch, they are not free to commit thought this or they would be going against the tenets of atheism, if such exists...
