You are right in the recognition that there are powers that be which Obama, nor any other President, has any control over. They have a firm grip on what goes on and so reveal the puppetry of the office. The question is how many strings does Obama have attached to his limbs and what dance will they choreograph for him.
Pakistan, I was thinking about something in that area but I couldn't pin point it, I kept thinking it was something politically motivated but now I think you are right, something big and possibly simultaneous with other quakes or tremors in places not really know for them.
