Truth be told, but I think that GHB and his cronyism was the mastermind behind the whole deal. After being head of the CIA, Vice to Reagan, President and then with two governor sons, one running for President and the other in the State where all the voting discrepancies took place. Its simple math! Can you hear it? "Now son, I pulled a lot of strings to get you elected president, now you go and get that pig Saddam who tried to kill your daddy!" As far as the economy, only time will tell, but I don't see the rebound anytime soon, at least not here in the US. The economic foundations that have been in place for years are crumbling and thousands of people are still losing their jobs.
