Dear Cris: I am rather new at this, blogging I mean, and I had a time figuring out that you were the moderator. And thought Molly Brogan was and kept being re-directed back to you.
I was very impressed with what you have done to honor your son and if one believes in karma, serendipity or other thoughts of divine intervention or divine guidance, a spirit guide, than you must be one. I was watching crntv and they produced a spot on burning temples or burning sacred temples a festival that takes place in Blackrock, Nevada every year. It is not only spectacular but has meaning on multiple levels. There are many contributors and as many designers, some professional and those that are not. Many volunteers. AT one of the temples a man said to the designer that his son had committed suicide and that coming there and writing or carving his name on the temple structure had set him free. I realize that there are many ways to say goodbye. For you perhaps (I don't want to define how you say goodbye) to your son. I also saw some artwork and wondered if you had seen the work of Sulamith Wulfing. She is a German artist whom you might enjoy. Her work is enjoyable both on the superficial level of the artist producing an attractive art form, but also on multiple levels of existential joy. I simply wanted to say hello share my thoughts and admit how profoundly touched I was by your sight. I am not sure if this is noetic enought to be posted but it is sent with peace and joy. Be still and know that we are loved. Or simply, come into the garden of my heart and rest your heart among the lilies and smell the sweet perfume of........the start of a poem that I have published in Vietnam when I was visiting there. A doctor's wife who receives no income from the state when her husband was killed, was attempting to manage their store which sold art and calligraphic art poems. I wrote some for her in English and my friend Tan who went with me translated it into Vietnamese, and we and Google translated it and others into the languages of French (some people live there and visit from France who speak French) and other assorted languages. I continue to send her poems which she translates. She cares for her aged mother in a one room store that combines all of their necessities, belongings and art work.
