Hi, I don't know how my message go to you, I thought you were the moderator for Mind's Eye and that I was sending it to where it was intended. I was impressed with your website and the reasons behind starting it and intimidated by thinking that I could ever create such a meaningful website or blog site. If I am not sending it to where it is intended or if it is suitable for a personal message than so be it. Whomever created Mind's Eye is a thoughtful, contributing member of the human race and I salute him and his reason for living. thanks for the note. I am not offended but thought I was doing the "right" thing if there is such an animal. Since then I have received other contributions from this blogging site but they appear to be quite existential and I don't know if I am up to being that poetic about mankind. But some of the contributors like Molly Brogan are like minded and I connected with her as I did with the Chris that I thought was you, the founder of the website. Please, I will not be offended if you do not post it but keep it as a message to you about my impressions. Love and prayers, I do pray and believe in God, altho recently got thrown out of a church, which I could share, but religion has such a bad rap. Like the Iranian situation and some of the papal behaviors and witch burning and inquisitions and abuses by many people and groups under the name of religion.
Have a wonderful day, life and reading of postings. I thought I read one which said you spent much of your day reading posts and little posting yourself, that sounds like an oxymoron. Anyway, it is a gift to all that you exist and share yourself and have started such an endeavor. Your pictures are meaningful and contribute much to your site. that is why I mentioned Sulamith as she has some art that would be hopefully welcome on on your site. As the only active Chris currently on the list, I'm operating on assumption. Your sentiments are extremely kind and good hearted, but I'm afraid I'm at a loss. I've created many web sites, both personally and commercially, so am not sure which one you are referring to, and most importantly, my son is still alive. Because I'm guessing that there must be a case of mistaken identity, and would very much like for your heartfelt message to reach its intended recipient, could you provide a little more information, such as the website in question you are referring to? And thought Molly Brogan was and kept being re-directed back to you. I was very impressed with what you have done to honor your son and if one believes in karma, serendipity or other thoughts of divine intervention or divine guidance, a spirit guide, than you must be one. I was watching crntv and they produced a spot on burning temples or burning sacred temples a festival that takes place in Blackrock, Nevada every year. It is not only spectacular but has meaning on multiple levels. There are many contributors and as many designers, some professional and those that are not. Many volunteers. AT one of the temples a man said to the designer that his son had committed suicide and that coming there and writing or carving his name on the temple structure had set him free. I realize that there are many ways to say goodbye. For you perhaps (I don't want to define how you say goodbye) to your son. I also saw some artwork and wondered if you had seen the work of Sulamith Wulfing. She is a German artist whom you might enjoy. Her work is enjoyable both on the superficial level of the artist producing an attractive art form, but also on multiple levels of existential joy. I simply wanted to say hello share my thoughts and admit how profoundly touched I was by your sight. I am not sure if this is noetic enought to be posted but it is sent with peace and joy. Be still and know that we are loved. Or simply, come into the garden of my heart and rest your heart among the lilies and smell the sweet perfume of........the start of a poem that I have published in Vietnam when I was visiting there. A doctor's wife who receives no income from the state when her husband was killed, was attempting to manage their store which sold art and calligraphic art poems. I wrote some for her in English and my friend Tan who went with me translated it into Vietnamese, and we and Google translated it and others into the languages of French (some people live there and visit from France who speak French) and other assorted languages. I continue to send her poems which she translates. She cares for her aged mother in a one room store that combines all of their necessities, belongings and art work.
