Do I have a concept of god? Yes, I do. It's a very beautiful concept I think. Once upon a time there was nothing but I who lay in the blissful white light arms of the harmony of everything and nothing. I was all there was and that was sufficient.
But say what's this? A little itch appeared and by the time I figured out what it was and reached for it, it was gone never to appear again. An unknown blip in the continuum had aroused me. It was the first time anything ever had and I liked it. I also liked this concept of first time. It implied others. Never knowing I'd been bored I set about exploring this infinity that composed me and found there to be nothing but pure potential. I could be more than I was. It was almost too much to bear. All I had to do was think it into being. I could explode myself into an infinite universe of all sort of sparkling glittering wonders but the me that I am would be gone. My consciousness, my omnipotence, my abundance and very existence would be spread out across this new universe, each part of it containing something of me, bound by rules only it could create and discover for itself while growing and becoming more self aware. Would it ever come back to be the consciousness that is me now? No way to know, not even for a god. Well, I'm gonna do it any way. Worst it can be is a grand adventure and besides, now that I know it's too late to go back. A god can't unknow itself. So goodbye me. Hello big bang! * Oh the mythology that will come from such an auspicious new creation. But is there an absolute?
