I'm rather glad Tink wasn't banned by some conscious act by the Mods.
Far better that this was a mystery of that collective conciousness we
never quite pin down in here and that its processes are self-
correcting where mistakes are made. If only government could operate
on the same fine principles, whether we understand them or not.
Craig, Chris and Ian would certainly get my vote and given the truly
dreadful nature of our current Prime Minister we could perhaps have
our slightly bungling collective consciousness in this role, allowing
it final responsibility when Chris and I sell the country off to an
Arab venture capital group as we pop champagne corks in that bit of
Moldova beyond international jurisdiction.
I am currently experiencing a little euphoria. England need one more
wicket for a magnificent victory over Australia, the excellent
Flintoff, a lad from up the road, body now regularly patched up by
surgeons and an excess of ale, sticking it to our antipodean cousins
big time - not bad for a country the Aussies regularly say is only
good at sports where you can sit down or face backwards. Should the
Mods care to renew a former offer, I would now find the time to help,
no doubt in the confused daze of belief my return from that awful
incident with Moriarty's grandfather is overdue. We have, at this
very moment completed the victory! Apparently our first victory over
the Australians at Lords since house prices averaged £540.
