In the case of my wife, it was I.  He has gone now, to America that is
and good ridance really.

Life (as I like to say) is a funny old game, and you can only play the
hand you are dealt, and I think I should include a third platitude but
I cannot think of an appropriate one.

But why does it seem that my life has been cursed with bad fathers?
Umm you know scratch that one, I already know the answer.  So that I
would be a good one. ;¬)
