I realize that is was you who posted this statement and don't think I specifically attributed the comment to Chris. I was talking to the totality of the comments against her experience, and think of them as a bit harsh.
In regards to the "ad hominem" slant, if one catagorizes someones "experience" (not belief) as outrageous, they are in fact calling the person making the statement outrageous are they not? Molly was speaking of her experience, one that she had to have belief in before it would work. If one does not believe they can do something, the likelihood of it happening is remote. If one does believes they can do something, it doesn't guarantee success, but certainly increases the potential. Do you agree with this?
