I used the term "Wealth redistribution" in a completely non-
ideological, descriptive sense. It is involved in every commercial
transaction which humans make with each other. When I pay 50 cents to
buy a pack of chewing gum, this involves wealth redistribution.
If you don't mind me commenting, BB, the tone of some of your posts on
this subject is exemplary of the strange emotional frenzy which seems
to be besetting a large part of US public opinion on this subject.
It's an aspect of the present US American psyche which has many of us
outside observers bemused and - yes - disturbed (similar to the
visceral hatred Obama seems to generate in some quarters, who are
still openly speculating about his middle name and Islamic/terrorist
conspiracies - along with death committees).
