I agree that unfortunately our compassion is is not unconditional .. yet I
think that as we become aware of the unconditional nature we display.. then
we can overcome it conditional nature.
As I look inward I see my own conditional nature then look outward I can see
the beauty of the unconditional nature of a super nova.
