As Monty Python pointed out, it takes real skill--and training--to be a first-class idiot, and someone who is really good at it deserves our respect. With that in mind, I would like to cite the case of the gentleman present at the "Intelligent Design" case in federal court here about three years ago, who remarked to the press, "We are being attacked by the intelligent and well-educated elements of our population."
