As I'm sure you know, Allan, it's a fairly standard procedure, and not particularly dangerous as operations go. But that's easy for me to say, I remember feeling nervous too, the night before they did my hip, a bit more than 5 years ago.
I wish you a successful op, and a full and speedy recovery (and 135°!). At least in the Netherlands you don't have to worry too much about MRSA; the Dutch have one of the best records on the world in that area.
