Yeah, there'll be a lot of PTSD after my book, that's for sure. As
for competition, well, hopefully, we'll grow away from that and grow
towards more harmonious solutions. Competition is great for smaller
populations but, when a population gets as large as humanity's is now,
then you have to change gears and start acting together more and
cooperation and tolerance (or, at least, recognition that our
differences ARE our strengths) will lead us forward, giving us the
chance to evolve. Otherwise, I suspect and fear, that competitions
and conflicts will prevent us from any decent evolution, physical OR
spiritual. But, as I get more vocal about my theories (after
publication), I think you're right and my petard will get hoisted.
Hopefully, by living in the U.K., I can just have them (those who
don't take kindly to me/my theories) form an orderly queue and I can
head out the back door. ;-)
If my theories are right, the concept of 'worth' is up for
redefining. As for humans, we are all of equal worth (this would mean
that my theory will appeal more to those of low self-esteem than those
who esteem themselves, that is, I would expect a homeless woman who
has turned to prostitution and theft to survive to accept it faster
than the judge who 'has power' to sentence her). As for financial
'worth', we'll KNOW that we don't really own anything and are only
just using resources while we're here.
As for the ban on string theories, you'll have to ban all flavours of
string theories, as well (based on recent laws regarding flavoured
tobacco products:

;-)
