In several discussions (a few about God) I hear people say evil is the opposite of good. Because a small part of my study was forensic psychology. I finished it with a thesis in Psychopathy (A diagnoses predictor that helps identify criminal minds) I made a diagnoses to identify psychopathy at young age (PCL-M). So we got to the discussions what evil is. In court we convict someone who committed a murder by the degree of evil of the act. However the court does not have a definition of Evil. So the suspect is convicted by terms of depravity. Michael Werner is creating a scale (the depravity scale) to establish the term Evil. If you want to help and give Evil a face to turn away from, take the survey at: https://depravityscale.org/depscale/index.php
If we as a society can define Evil we can give criminals the punishment they deserve.
