Gen 1:31 ‘And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it
was very good. ‘

 How do

Rom 5:12 ‘ Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and
death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have
sinned:’
The answer to this is complex. My conclusions are not generally based
on only one text.
James 1:14-15 (NIV) ‘ but each one is tempted when, by his own evil
desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has
conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown,
gives birth to death.’
Paul called selfishness ‘sinful human flesh’. Try Romans 7 from verse
17 onwards.

All my statements are based on what I have read in the Bible and I
believe it to be true because it all hangs together even though there
were many different writers. I started by studying prophecy and I read
all prophecy about 7 or 8 times before I started to connect the dots.
I found a consistent theme running through the whole book. This
convinced me that it was true. Now the casual reader will never sort
it out because unless he has got a marvellous memory or a concordance,
and a lot of time he won’t be able to bring it all together. But if
the Bible is false then everything I have written is false.
It’s your choice.

That would assume that all cultures teach the same thing.
