Ask and you shall receive. DOES NOT say ask ME and you shall receive. Too often people think they are praying TO God, outside of them...in heaven somewhere...
Lets put aside the obvious God knows everything then why would I even HAVE to pray to (him??) Can you transfer your thoughts outside your own body? Never the less...into HEAVEN miles and miles away in space somewhere. When you PRAY you are not ASKING some being to GRANT to you. You should be stating what you want and your energy will flow there. It's a responsibility thing...I think religions are great for the people who are religious but from MY point of view they are irresponsible. When something doesn't go their way they blame GOD...when it does they blame GOD. The way the world has worked the last 13 thousand years has been giving power away... it's changing.
