I am required to have a passport and I do have one,, for when I return from the US. other than that I have never been asked for it going from country to country, I have an ID card which I am required to carry because am a foreigner (like a green card) and my drivers license which I use for ID.. To go to Germany all I need to do is get in my car and drive ,, a few hours later I am there,, I think the wife is wanting to go shopping there in a couple of weeks. I love shopping in France what can I say,, Belgium is great love riding the tram along the coast,, they have a special week end fare and it is cheap.. Allan
