While I understand your stance on the issue, I also see incongruity in
the non-address of the overall complexity. We can't just placate the
concerned with measures against cigarette smoke when there are
numerous environmental toxins spewed out by government sanctioned
entities.   This is very typical of "clouding the real issues";
basically it serves as a distraction.
You know what your stance is? It is admission that you are powerless
over the real "Toxic" issues concerning the "Health of" people, which
includes children. However you know that whining about second hand
smoke is something the government will do something about. Then of
course you can tell your children how wonderful everything is because
there is a law that won't allow children to be subjected to cigarette
smoke. "Okay Kids! Go out and breathe in the fresh air now that we
rid your air environment of cigarette smoke" don't worry about all the
other "Air Pollutants" you know those companies are "Too Big To Fail"
so we have to let them keep poisoning you, but at least when you die
of lung cancer we can say it won't be from cigarette smoke", sleep
well my children".
