Yes they are and we can see that history has a lot to do with this. We here in the UK are slowly but surly becoming a secular nation, we are grinding our way out of our medival historical religous mindset. I wonder then in say 500 years time in a similar forum would two people be talking about our laws having a largely secular base?
We can't help our history, it has what has made our nations.
