Hey Restless. Ohh how I disagree here. We are all, it is true, subject to our social mores and our genetic traits and the rest of our envirmoment. These however do not constrian us, merely colour our thinking.
If you are able to consider any point from anothers POV, then you are able to think along lines that are not coloured by the society and time line you find yourself being born into. Let us have an example. There was a news item on UK TV the other day about the Cristian church allowing or not allowing gay weddings to take place in a church. Whether one professes to a particular faith or none it should be easy to see that the Christian church simply cannot allow such a thing to happen, unless it re-interprates it's dogma on this subject.
