I would go back to the Middle Ages...lol

One thing is the housing disaster. People are dropping their keys at
the bank and taking off- depressing more home values. Assessments are
higher than value but remain the tax basis- that's unfair. It also
affect high insurance costs. Taxes should be waived after a certain
age or retirement.

I would demand churches to increase their outreach if they want to
retain their tax-free status. I would cap the salaries of celebrities
and sport players- most act like perpetual teenagers. Sports have
become a business/religion.

Healthcare would be free. The HMO's are also ducking their assets.
Drugs are highpriced and most sound lethal anyway. I would send buses
around to act like clinics. Another bus might be a food shelf- another
a library.

All foreign loans would be subject to review. So would military
spending. Who pays Blackwater? The army trains men and Blackwater
lures them away with 6 figure salaries.

Social Security would not be available to those with a high retirement
income. All pensions and benefits would be reviewed/reduced based on
economic realities.

Highschool would have required courses in budgets, relationships,
cooking= life skills in case parents are irresponsible.

Each city corner would have a mail/post box before the post office
goes bust. No more junk mail. Each street light would have a security
camera.

E-mails, twittering, etc. would have a small fee- like 3 cents? (A
penny for your thoughts?) News/newspapers should be free. Probably
there should be fees for recipes, instructions and porn.

Maybe couples could job-share one job and open up the market- that
could be trick...

That's all I can think of for the moment.

You know that micro-loan business also has had some troubles.

So what would be your solutions? Will check back.
