Not unless you'd care to invest in a small design and development agency with no consistent history of profitability. :D
I'm part of two equity projects right now as well, and we brought in a new CEO yesterday who advised she'd be fully funding our project. That's a bright spot I'll be able to hold onto for the next couple of months as that comes together. In the meantime, the winter's looking a bit cold. *C'est la vie, non? *I'm sure with a fine tooth comb and a judgmental attitude, I could likely point to hundreds of micro-decisions along the way which have contributed to my current position. It's not without a strong sense of personal accountability that I rail against the bigger problems in the system which contribute to this economic environment. Perhaps if I were more business educated, more vigilant about basing my decisions on bottom line accounting, I'd be better prepared, but that doesn't change the fact that the current economic environment is brutally unforgiving.
