When you die the Spirit leaves the body, and presuming that there are rebirths , it takes on another , a completely different body and identity. Don't tell me that you carry innumerable past bodies with you. If Clinton were Abraham , I don't see how they could be together with one spirit , past bodies are turned to ash as well as the identities. Where does memory reside but in grey matter, but as per your logic that grey matter is just a receiving set which receives memories of past lives from the spirit like a radio receiving signals from the outside. If you are matter how do you exist separate from a dismembered limb? How do you carry decomposed bodies through your journey of innumerable lives? Personally , I am just examining possibilities arising from reports of rebirths , I am not convinced and believe that a soul is for the lifetime of a body only and it is the One Spirit unborn and indestructible which resides in everybody.
