Yes, I believe so - and since the mingw64 project is providing a port of gcc, I thought that port of gcc would honour the LIBRARY_PATH. All I really want to know is whether the current behaviour regarding LIBRARY_PATH is intentional (and it will stay as it is) or an oversight (that will be addressed in the future). What should I do in order to get that question answered ? Is there some other way of adding C:/_64/msys/1.0/local/lib to the default library search path so that I can avoid using the -L switch all the time ?
