 First, I'll point you to our wiki, where I have written up on exactly what
you want:

Mingw-w64

personally prefer sezero's builds)
MSYS <http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/mingw-w64/wiki/MSYS>

These outline what you need to know. Together with the naming scheme
explanation (if you prefer not to use TDM-GCC), this will get you set up.

MSYS will work perfectly fine with a x64 toolchain, as you said in your
first message.
