We're already working with the no underscore ABI. However, changing the toolchain means building up all needed libraries from scratch using the new toolchain, so we should never run into any ABI incompatibility issues. We call such a complete new toochain build a new "generation", so old projects can rely on and older generation of the toolchain. This way we can guarantee clean room builds of software projects for a substantial maintainance period of 2 or more years.
