Well, just some nitpicking maybe, but Unix/linux doesn't come with
make either. You'd have to install it from the repositories.

There are three options:

1. You use mingw makefiles or want to build Qt or wxwidgets or
something not requiring a Bash shell, like anything with a CMake build
system. Use mingw32-make from the "External Binary Packages" section
in the files section.

2. You need to build unix-ish libraries and apps, with a configure
script or autotools gunk. You'll need to download the msys package
from the same "External binary packages" section in the downloads
area.

3. You're running a Unix-ish system. In that case, install the host
make tool, and just use the regular configure-y and make magic to
point it to your mingw-w64 toolchain.
