I never implied your ears were defective. And I meant no offence, but I did
not get any reaction so I thought I'd stir things up a bit. You pursued a
better solution, which is great of course! Thanks for that.
Still leaves the /mingw directory and the lib32 directories on a
non-multilib 64-bit build. (see my other recent e-mail).
I'm wondering as well: are (GCC) runtime DLL's still overwritten on a
multilib build/install? Or are they now placed in a seperate directory, in
addition to the host DLL's in the main /bin dir. I found some old heated
discussion on the autotools list but never heard about the eventual result.
