Hey Kai, While building the mingw-w64 crt I've noticed some suspicious warnings in the processing of the msvcrt.def file: i686-w64-mingw32-dlltool --as-flags=--32 -m i386 -k --as=i686-w64-mingw32-as --output-lib lib32/libmsvcrt.a --input-def ../lib32/msvcrt.def --dllname msvcrt.dll i686-w64-mingw32-dlltool: Syntax error in def file ../lib32/msvcrt.def:1200 and later on: x86_64-w64-mingw32-dlltool --as-flags=--64 -m i386:x86-64 -k --as=x86_64-w64-mingw32-as --output-lib lib64/libmsvcrt.a --input-def ../lib64/msvcrt.def --dllname msvcrt.dll x86_64-w64-mingw32-dlltool: Syntax error in def file ../lib64/msvcrt.def:1233 Both mentioned files contain the text 'vsnprintf == _vsnprintf DATA' at the specified line. It might be an unrelated issue, but it sure is something odd.
