I committed the additional updates I had sent privately to Erik.

As for the __MINGW_INTRIN_INLINE thing, I guess I still don't quite 
understand the value.  If it isn't defined, is it likely 
__MINGW_GNUC_PREREQ will be?  Seems like we're just changing where the 
compiler error occurs.

Kai said that in his absence, you were able to approve checkins.
