Hey Jon, Thanks for the RC tarball. I'll push it to Fedora 20 (Alpha) and also enable winpthreads at the same time. One question about the versioning though: previous mingw-w64 releases used 3 digits in their version number (for example: 2.0.8). The RC you mentioned now only contains 2 digits (3.0rc1). There may be some Linux distributions and packaging mechanisms around which may consider '3.0' to be older than '2.0.8' due to the fact that the number of digits changed. For RPM based Linux distributions this change in version numbering works fine: $ rpmdev-vercmp Epoch1: Version1: 2.0.8 Release1: 1 Epoch2: Version2: 3.0 Release2: 0.rc1 2.0.8-1 < 3.0-0.rc1 $ rpmdev-vercmp Epoch1: Version1: 2.0.8 Release1: 1 Epoch2: Version2: 3.0rc1 Release2: 1 2.0.8-1 < 3.0rc1-1 Regards, Erik ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ LIMITED TIME SALE - Full Year of Microsoft Training For Just $49.99! 1,500+ hours of tutorials including VisualStudio 2012, Windows 8, SharePoint 2013, SQL 2012, MVC 4, more.
