Hi,
On a related note, there has been an increasing number of people asking
which topics could be worked on. So far there has been no list of "easy"
tasks since most things were in flux and there were large and complex
issues to deal with first.
Now that things are getting more stable, I believe such a list could be
made. For instance, it should be possible to implement SEH for 32bits
without having to change too many components.
The idea here is to make newcomers to the project pick a subject they'd
like to see improved and contribute to it in a way or another. This list
should also make it possible to take part in GSoC and similar events.
It will be displayed on the top-right corner of the website (the
elements that had been there have been moved and merged in order to make
room for such highlights).
Feel free to send your ideas. A few on top of my head:
- SEH for 32bits
- Thorough analysis of the status of {a,t,u}san and fixing what could be
broken (two separate tasks)
- Same for LTO
