So, you say that testsuite hangs because of recent issues on Msys2/arm64 and not a bug in winpthreads? If that's the case, I guess we only need to mark failing tests as expected failures, for now.
We'll find more issues with winpthreads' testsuite. A few tests fail when compiled with enabled exceptions (C++ or MSVC), but I didn't mark them as XFAIL because they do nothing when compiled as C with gcc/clang.
