hello everyone!

The kernel version of  the Linux OS I use is 2.4.22 ,and MIPL 1.0 ,the device driver is linux-wlan-ng -0.2.2.tar. the wireless network card I use is D-Link  DWL-122.
I have some questions on link layer triggers. I can't find the exact position where the link layer has complete a handover. In the wireless network ,when the MN moves from the scope of AP1 to the scope of AP2,it will send a reassociation request to the AP2.But  I look through the linux-wlan-ng-0.2.2.tar  only to find it currently doesn't support the reassociation.I have some questions about the handling of the management frames in the wireless network.I want to know how does the network card deal with the management frames? Is the netdevice driver do this work? I look through the source code of the linux-wlan-ng-0.2.2.tar ,find in the prism2mgmt.c some process in the wireless network card finding the network ,such as reassociation \authentication currently not supported, then what will it do when it have a handover?could you tell me the exact position when it finish the handover in the link layer?
Thanks in advance for any help!:)
