Hello everyone, I have tested MIPL2.0.2 for a week now.
My testbed is the following :My MN is a "wifi" laptop which connects to the network through a Cisco Aironet 1200 AP. The AP is connected to a switch which itself is connected to a 2800 IPv6 router.
I configured some vlans :¤vlan 100 is the home network (prefix 2001:100::/64), the corresponding ssid ont the AP is home_network, Ra are sent by the Linux HA ¤vlan 10 is the foreign network (prefix 2001:10::/64), the corresponding ssid on the AP is stychu, Ra are sent by the 2800 router.
I have made a shell script that "emulates" a roaming between the home network and the foregn network : first the MN connects itself to the home network then after 60 sec connects itself to the foreign network then returns to the home network after 60 sec and so on. I run MIPv6tester on both MN (client) and HA (server) in order to see the effect of the handover.
But when the MN tries to return to the Home Network, the mip6 daemon indicates a segmentation fault and stops.
Has anyone get an idea?In the attached files you will find the script for the iniailisation of the MN, the configuration of the MN, and thr debug messages of mip6d from the MN.
Best regards MathieuP.S : concerning radvd that stops after some handovers, the problem disappeared
